Clemensy believe each human holds an innate capacity to fulfil their innate potential. Our ethos revolves around four key concepts:
*Compassion
*Acceptance
*Resilience
*Empowerment
Clemensy Counselling strives to work towards empowering individuals to believe in their hopes rather than fears.
* Empowerment
A trait which involves exploration of the self. Whilst this can often be difficult, counsellors ensure clients feel safe to explore hidden parts of our self’s and safely challenging our misconceptions.
* Resilience
A concept we practise within each session with clients. When the going gets tough, Clemensy ensure you are in a safe environment where you shall not feel judged. Realistically, we are aware that Counselling may be a new experience. Thus, we ensure we focus upon developing our rapport and relationship.
* Acceptance
A concept we feel extends beyond the counselling room. Acceptance is practised through understanding that whilst we strive and endeavour to understand the beautiful variations of human nature in different cultures and beliefs. Clemensy understands the importance of not making assumptions and holding expectations.
* Compassion
A quality which is the backbone of this organisation, compassion is a concept I hold dearly as the founder. Based upon the sum total of my conscious existence and life experience, I truly believe that forgiveness and mercy is not exclusive to others. Clemensy believe that forgiveness starts with the self. We believe that forgiveness towards the self can be the most difficult hurdle of self change and the most damaging when overlooked.
